We recommend the shampoo bar often to men who insist on using a bar of soap for their hair and scalp care.  In contrast to most hand soaps that tend to dry the skin (and scalp), the Bodimage Shampoo Bar contains healthy oils that work on the scalp and the hair reducing flakiness and dryness.  A very nice clean is the result.

The oils in the bar take a few days to work their ‘magic’.  We have found that 4 to 6 days of once a day use without any other usage of other soaps or shampoos or conditioners will give your hair the time it needs to adapt to the new, healthy oils and cleansing elements.

You do not need conditioner with the shampoo bar but a good quality conditioner does not hurt the effectiveness of the shampoo bar once through the break-in period.  A conditioner sometimes adds a bit more shine and silkiness to your hair.

For people who are very sensitive to scent, though this shampoo bar is quite mild, we recommend using our Avedyne Dog Shampoo Bar.  It is made for dogs in that it does not have any fragrance oils and is a bit heavier in its oils.  These attributes help keep a dog's skin and coat healthy with out drying them out like many commercial shampoos do.  We have customers who use the dog shampoo for their hair and as a shaving lather.
